Hello, my dad just acquired a company and has tasked me with every of the e-mail and website hosting duties. We want to switch for security reasons and I am not sure the best route to take. I would like to keep the same e-mail addresses (there are only two we need) and I would like to switch the website to a host that allows me to use my possess merchant. I do have a server but we don't not want to use it for website hosting we want to use an outside company, are there any that you would recommend over others? I have very rudimentary knowledge of internet programming. As for the e-mail, is there a way I could host that from my server and retain the original e-mail addresses? I am using windows server 2008. The current host is ix webhosting. I possess every of the domain names so those are not an issues. Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated. Im like a fish out of water when it comes to this stuff.

I've recently decided that an interesting way to prank my friends would be to shoot them a phishing page. I've completed every the steps necessary, except one - I still need to upload it to a webhosting service. I'm not going to pay (I'm just pranking my friends, after every) for it, but every the free ones I've found don't seem to have the correct page setup for such things. Are there any free services that I can make a phishing page out of? @Sam- If I'd wanted to hack banks or whatever, I would've gotten a premium T35 account as opposed to going through the difficulty of trying to convince the Y/A community of my innocence. But, since I'm not willing to pay, if I don't receive a free account I don't go phishing - certainly not the tell-tale signs of a professional. And take this as you will, I think my three years on this site is proof enough that I'm a reputable individual. But thanks for your concern, anyway. @D K- freeweb is exactly the nice of thing I'm trying to avoid. GBBO looks better, but I don't live in the UK and therefore can't make the site (they require location verification). Do you know of any others?

Vizaweb - Gone Dark with No Explanation
Vizaweb (the webhost once touted by Leo Laporte) has gone dark with no warning or explanation to their customers. It's been over 48 hours and domains are now failing to resolve. No one has access to their data, email, etc. Vizaweb support doesn't answer the phone, and they obviously don't have email. This is a blog about the problem.
